Upgrades are rewards you can get from PvE or you can claim them with Tokens won from PvP. Upgrading makes cards stronger. There are currently two upgrade levels for each card, but a possible third level may be added at some point.
Upgrade Types
Unit upgrade plus charge upgrade for Master Archers
- Normal Upgrades
These upgrades typically increase the performance of the unit in some way. Some even add new abilities. It costs Gold to apply a Normal Upgrade. The Gold cost to apply them depends on the Rarity of the card.
- Charge Upgrades
Gives more charges to the card so it can be summoned multiple times in the beginning. Once the charges are up, you must wait until the cooldown of the card is over. Charge upgrades require an additional copy of the card and that you have the corresponding normal upgrade. The additional copy is consumed in the upgrade. Charge Upgrades do not cost Gold to apply.
