Twilight Edition is the first edition of BattleForge cards. The name, Twilight, is based both upon the PvE events of a new sun being cast into the heavens by the Giant King, as well as an eponymous threat that is infecting the world.

Description

Twilight edition of cards contains a total of two-hundred (200) unique cards, including fifty cards for each elemental faction: Fire, Frost, Nature, and Shadow. The set can also be broken down by card type into one-hundred (100) creature cards, forty-eight (48) buildings, and fifty-two (52) spells.

Future editions will expand on the game and story by adding new cards and maps. At this time, no future editions have been announced. For each edition, there are separate boosters. A Booster or Tome can therefore only contain these cards.

A bargain was then struck, all the gold and gems the mortals had acquired in exchange for the Giants building a new sun, and it was Jorne, the King of Giants who hurled the new sun into the sky. But the Red King of Fire, the mortal ruler of the fire tribes betrayed the agreement, plundering all the treasure given to the Giants. Enraged, the Giants forced the mortal races aboveground. It was then the mortals discovered a tainted blight had infected the land during the twilight. As a result of this, creatures infected thus were referred to as the Twilight. With the aid of the skylords, one mortal, a Lyrish man named Rogan Kayle set out to reclaim his homeland from the twisted infection of the Twilight...or not
