PvE is an abbreviation of Player vs Enviroment and is a commonly used term in MMORPGs. In BattleForge, a PvE match is where players take their decks and face off against NPC's and complete goals to earn rewards.

Types

Battleforge is known of his Co-op gameplay and thus can be played in teams or alone. There is a missionline on the map for every type. In the beginning you get 1 mission of the 3 first types in the list below.

  • 1 Player
  • 2 Players
  • 4 Players
  • 12 Players (only on higer levels)

Tips: If you play with people on higer levels, its best to take a variety of decks with you.

For example: 4 people with fire decks with no healing or proper defence are going to have alot more trouble on advanced and expert than a well balanced team.

Difficulty

There are 3 levels of difficulty in PvE missions:

  • Standard
  • Advanced
  • Expert

As you complete missions in standard mode, only then you can advance to Advanced and Expert respectively. Bigger difficulty brings greater rewards.

Rewards

Rewards for PvE matches are Upgrades and Gold. The type of upgrade and the ammount of gold you get also depends on the difficulty level.
