Root Nexus is a support structure that enables either auto-healing or damage control to a root network. The auto-heal ability also repairs damaged buildings, making it a useful part of any Nature tower defense.
Furthermore, it is able to bridge distances between disparate rooted units/buildings, effectively linking them into the same network. In this capacity, you will often see it used in a towering tactic where a chain of Root Nexi will link outward-lying or forward-deployed units to a centralized network defending a base, since most units/towers gain combat advantages while part of a larger root network.
A lone Root Nexus DOES create an active root network, thus it can be comboed with such units as Sun Reaver which require active network suppport.
The buffs furnished by mutiple Root Nexi of the same type do not stack.
- Is able to repeat the root network and bridge the distance between two entities connected to it. Those entities may then support each other even across wide distances although the Root Nexus itself does not grant any additional support.

- Friendly entities connected to the root network within a 25m radius around Root Nexus will regenerate 2% of their life points every 2 seconds.

- Friendly entities connected to the root network within a 25m radius around Root Nexus will take 25% less damage.
