Life Weaving is a useful first-orbdamage reflection , though the reflection effect affects friends and enemy. However, the effect's range is small enough that ranged units can typically keep clear of the reflection aura.
The reflected damage is dealt directly to HP, bypassing frost shields or other damage reduction. It is in this sense, a type of Piercing Damage, and can be used as a counter for Avatar of Frost, Mountaineer, Lost Wanderer, and similar cards (many Ice Shield cards were added with the Lost Souls expansion).
It also comes in handy when used with Blood Healing and Aura of Pain as it is able to reflect up to 50% of self-inflicted damage to units around - unfortunately both friendly and enemy (please notice that the negative impact on friendly units will be overcome when using Blood Healing as it will heal even more than the damage inflicted by this spell).
- All damage done to the targeted own unit is reduced by 30%, transferring 50% more of the received damage to hostile and friendly entities within a 15m radius. Lasts for 20 seconds. Reusable every 20 seconds.
To counter this card, cc buff target unit then use ranged to outrange the reflect damage AoE
