Infect is a nasty way to turn enemies into ones own army. Affected units that die within the spell's duration will produce frenziedNightcrawlers for the caster. This is a nasty way to turn the tide of battle or temporarily increase the size of one's army. To maximize this spell, ensure that the enemy will die with a nasty direct damage play; even if a few of friendly units are harmed, the reward of seven frenzy units may be worth the self-inflicted damage. Generally situations where it is useful are not found often in PvP, so it may be more useful in PvE.
Infects up to 7 enemies within a 25m radius with a dreadful disease. If an infected unit dies within the next 20 seconds a Nightcrawler will spawn out of its corpse with Frenzy enabled. Reusable every 30 seconds.
