- Fathom Lord is a third era Nature creature that excels in support roles due to its special ability that paralyzes enemies. It can also be used as a main attack force thanks to the relatively high stats, but might need anti-air support.
- Fathom Lords are especially good for PvE where you'll usually see lots of big units like the Twilight Abomination. They are also good for PvP, if just a little less so than in the other mode of the game. Sometimes the opposing players might get powerful units like the Deepcoil Worm or Avatar of Frost on the battlefield, when you'll want to have something like the Fathom Lord around. It also serves as a neat counter for units that are often buffed with many spells, like the Ashbone Pyro. This unit is also good in groups of two or more along with a Primeval Watcher, this gives you the potential to have a mass paralysis effect in larger battles.

- Activate to paralyze target enemy for 15 seconds. After the effect wears off, target is immune against Paralyze for a while. Reusable every 20 seconds.
