A Pure Stonekin affinity (Two Frost and one Nature orb requirement) XL size heavy archer / light Tank with more power than defense. It has quite high damage for a third Era card: 150 Damage per Second (DpS) (Deepcoil Worm does 110), and the damage is applied each second, for less overkill.
The Infused ability is a Direct Damage to all enemies and Damage Boost for all friendlies in a 20m radius, with a knockback to enemies of all sizes except XL.
It is a Summoner Card that can create Stonekin units with its 'Stonekin Critter' ability.
Unit releases a fiery stream that deals 150 damage to enemies every second.
Activate to deal 50 damage to enemies within a 20m radius, up to 300 in total. Knocks back small, medium and large units. Also creates an attack zone of 20m radius that allows Deepfang and its Critters to deal 50% more damage. At least one Critter needs to be nearby. Lasts for 20 seconds. Reusable every 20 seconds.
The unit is spawned with 2 adherers that will follow it loyally and that can be sacrificed in order to restore its life points.
Deepfang, Infused version, was one of the cards offered in Twilight Edition and Lost Souls Edition boosters before the release of Amii edition during the summer and fall of 2010.
Deepfang has the same 3D model as Magma Fiend, with a Stonekin texture map applied. The light effects for its attack and abilities are completely new.
The two Frost orb requirement makes it incompatible with decks using Enlightenment, but puts it in line with Frost generally, which has a marked tendency to require two Frost orbs, including the patched version of Tremor.
